I’m in Vancouver. I’m supposed to be on vacation but am writing this post. But once I’m done, I’ll be making my way downtown to Robson Street and see what trouble I can get into .

When going on vacation, I really try to limit the amount of beauty products that I bring. It’s hard but necessary. I thought I’d show you what made the trip to the West Coast with me this time.

With the end of summer here, it’s time to lighten up on the bronzer and self-tanner and ease yourself gently into Fall. I am always on the hunt for two specific beauty products: the perfect foundation and the perfect eye cream. When GLAM.com asked me if I would be interested in trying the new Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Complex, I of course said yes. A gal always wants youthful peepers!

What immediately caught my attention was the claim on the back of the box: …a dramatic reduction in the look of every key sign of aging around the fragile eye area – fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness, dark circles, dryness and uneven skin tone. If this product works, it will be one of my must-haves forever!

Ok, so my wrinkles aren’t really deep, but they do bother me. As you can see in the image below, there are a few deeper crow’s feet and multiple fine lines around my eyes.

As we start to age (that’s not a bad word you know — aging) more and more women are realizing that in order to have beautiful skin when you’re, ahem, more mature, you need to start taking care of your skin from a younger age.
