Smashbox Cosmetics Spring 2008 Collection makes is debut this month and there is some very special about it. Green Room is totally green!
These eco-chic cosmetics contain environmentally-friendly formulas, packed with natural antioxidants to keep skin youthful and healthy. Nearly all of the Green Room Collection use Moringa Seed Extract which consists of 7 times the Vitamin C of oranges and 4 times the Vitamin A of carrots. The attractive packaging is either biodegradable or recyclable which means less garbage going to the landfill.
All this goodness and each piece looks great too. For me, this collection is perfect for my daytime look – soft, neutral and pretty.

The Warm Winter Glow look uses the Beyond Beauty Collection. Below are the step by step instructions to achieve this simply gorgeous Holiday face.
For flawless skin, smooth Photo Finish Foundation Primer all over face.
Apply your shade of High Definition Healthy FX Foundation using Foundation Brush #13 from the Encounter Brush Kit.
For a luminous all-over glow, dust the light pearl cheek color from the Fusion Eye & Cheek Palette in Endless over face using Powder Brush #1.
Stay subtle with a sheer wash of color. Swirl through the four cheek colors in the Endless Palette with Powder Brush #1 and apply to the apples of cheeks.
Use Shadow Brush #26 to apply the bronze shadow from lash to brow, and repeat using the champagne shade.
Next sweep the copper shadow along the natural crease, whipping color up and out at the brow bone.
Brush the bronze shadow across the lower lashline and add a dab of champagne at the inner corners of the eye.
Finish the eyes with several lashings of Focal Point Mascara in Black on top lashes only. Before mascara dries, bat eyes gently to softly coat lower lashes.
Keep lips light and luscious with a dab of Light Speed Lip Gloss in Glide.

Breast cancer incidence is the number of new cases diagnosed in a population over a specific time period.
- In 2007, an estimated 22,300 women in Canada will be diagnosed with breast cancer. On average, that is about 429 women diagnosed every week.
- In 2007, an estimated 170 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Men with breast cancer make up a little less than 1% of all cases.
- In 2007, an estimated 5,300 women and 50 men will die from breast cancer.
Breast cancer prevalence is the number of people in a population living with breast cancer at a specific point in time.
- An estimated 162,600 Canadian women who were alive in 2003 had been diagnosed with breast cancer in the previous 15 years.
One in nine (11%) Canadian women is expected to develop breast cancer during her lifetime (this means by age 90), while less than 1% of Canadian men will be diagnosed with breast cancer.
Only one in every 27 Canadian women will die from breast cancer. This means that about two-thirds of the women diagnosed with breast cancer in Canada will live through it.
There is more cause to be optimistic. Since 1999, the incidence of breast cancer in Canada has stabilized. As well, since the mid-1980s, the number of people who die from breast cancer has declined steadily. The biggest improvement in survival has been in the 50 – 69 age group. Higher survival rates have been attributed to improved screening and treatment.
