Jennifer Aniston Hair: How To

Saturday, June 16th, 2007

Do you wish you could have glossy, straight locks like Jennifer Aniston? Well I am here to tell you that it can be done and all you need are the right tools! Here are products from the Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight line that I would recommend.

Start off by washing and conditioning your hair with Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight shampoo and conditioner.

Towel dry your hair and apply a golf ball size of Pin Straight Mousse evenly throughout your hair. Comb through using a wider tooth comb

Part your hair into four sections and using a round brush blow dry each section of your hair

Once thoroughly dry, take a two inch section of your hair and apply Flat Out Finishing Spray

Take your preheated flat iron and clamp at the roots and gently glide down your hair from root to tip. Repeat with the rest of your hair.

I like to finish off with Shimmery Nights. Containing a fusion of diamond dust & champagne, this light weight smoother holds down the flyaways and add shimmer.

Voila!

Have you tried the new Herbal Essences line? I usually go for salon brands but was encouraged to try the revamped Clairol products.

I was a little nervous as I haven’t had many good experiences with drugstore type brands – they usually dry my hair out, but thought I’d give them a go. I have been using the ‘Totally Twisted’ shampoo and conditioner for curls and wavy hair. It smells so good – french lavender, which is one of my favourite scents. My curls are defined and not frizzy. My hair feels soft and looks shiny.

I decided to try another collection from the group and just purchased the ‘Color Me Happy’ for colour treated hair. This one smells very fruity and says that it has a fusion of acai berries and satin extracts. I find that using these products is quite relaxing in the shower, as the scents are almost therapeutic. The ‘Color Me Happy’ products are excellent too and my hair is looking great.

The old Herbal Essences had 13 different shampoos, 13 conditioners and 16 styling products – a little confusing! The new Herbal Essences focus on finding the ‘collection’ to suit your hair type and needs. If you go to their website and answer 5 simple questions, a shampoo, conditioner and corresponding styling product will be recommended for you.

In total there are 9 collections:
Body Envy – Full & Voluminzed
Break’s Over – Strong & Healthy
Color Me Happy – Bright & Radiant
Dangerously Straight – Straight & Sleek
Drama Clean – Fresh & Clean
Hello Hydration – Hydrated & Silky
None of your Frizziness – Frizz Controlled & Smooth
Set Me Up – To hold its look with shine
Totally Twisted – Curly & Manageable

When you visit the website, check out all the helpful information and tips they have. Styling videos, hot hair trends and even hairdresser lingo are some of the items you will find here.

At $3.99 for each product, you can’t go wrong with even just trying it.
