During TIFF we want to look like we’ve just stepped off the cover of a glossy magazine but do you ever wonder what “celebrity” smells like? Here are our top three picks for a red carpet-worthy scent.
Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue Perfume
As a tribute to the whimsical shoe art that Warhol created in 1950s NYC, Bond No. 9 has introduced the limited edition Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue Perfume. The flacon design incorporates bright, whimsical shoes set against a black backdrop. This seductive eau de parfum is a floral woody chypre with highly coveted contemporary gourmand notes—a brew of peony, orris, patchouli, sandalwood, cardamom, fennel, almonds, cumin, and even crème brulee.

“My favorite smell is the first smell of spring in New York” Andy Warhol
What could be more appealing than the magnificant frangrances of Bond No. 9, combined with spectacular artwork from one of the most important artists of the 20th century. Andy Warhol Union Square, is the second in Bond’s Warhol series, made in collaboration with The Warhol Foundation.
The scent, a seductive green floral that’s simultaneously cool and warm, is housed in a slim Bond No. 9 glass flacon, displaying Warhol’s fuchsia, red and yellow coloured flowers with blue coloured blades of grass, as its surface design. Warhol’s Flowers silk-screens and Union Square itself, the second location of Warhol’s Factory (and the place where he created his Flowers), were the inspiration for this new fragrance.
If you are a serious Warhol collector, then you will be very interested in the limited-edition portfolio of ten bottles, each a different Flowers print - cost $1500.
Andy Warhol Union Square, the latest in Bond No. 9’s series of collectible Warhol eaux de parfum, will be available March, 2008.
