Have you seen Zero Dark Thirty? What a fantastic movie! And Jessica Chastain is fantastic–though, sadly, she did not take home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female in a Leading Role. 

Chastain looked stunning at this year’s awards in a Alexander McQueen dress and Harry Winston bling. Her makeup was done by Kristofer Buckle and her hair was styled by Renato Campora, and of course I found out what makeup was used and how to to copy her hair, and here are the deets! (more…)

Penelope Cruz (one of the Hubster’s celeb crushes) was looking very ’50s last night at the 2012 Oscars in a custom Giorgio Armani evening gown.

Celebrity makeup artist Matthew VanLeeuwen made up the Oscar-winning actress in rich, intense shades that coordinated perfectly with her ethereal gown and movie star locks. (more…)

We are starting to appreciate Rose’s bob and bangs now. Sorry, we loved her long locks and were (at the time) shocked to see this new ‘do at the SAG Awards.

But we’re not talking about her hair in this post, no, we want to talk makeup, people.

What did you think of her Oscar’s makeup? We thought she looked beautiful, and wow, did her skin ever glow! (We hear her luminosity was due to the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer used).
