Let’s Get Naked: Our current 4 fave nude polish shades

Ladies, we’re getting personal today: are you a nudist?

Do you wear nude-coloured polish? What did you think we meant? :)

Over the past month, we’ve talked up fun nails colours like blue, green, and of course, tangerine, but sometimes you just need to tone it down and go for the safe choice – nude.

When deciding on your perfect nude nail shade, Chantel Guertin, beauty expert for The Marilyn Denis Show says that you should opt for a colour that is two shades lighter or darker than your skin tone. “If it’s any less than two shades different it washes out your skin tone and neither your skin tone nor the polish shade looks flattering.”

Here are our current four fave nude polish shades:

L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Nail Color in 300 Walk on The Beach. $6.99, available at Shoppers Drug Mart.

Revlon ColorStay Long Wear Enamel in Bare Bones. $8.95 at Shoppers Drug Mart.

OPI Nail Lacquer in Did You ‘Ear About Van Gogh?. $9.95. Retail locations listed at www.opi.com

AVON Nailwear Pro Nail Enamel in Illusion. $6.99, available through Avon Independent Sales Representatives, 1-800-265-AVON or online at www.avon.ca.

Are you a nudist? What do you think about our four picks? Do you have a favourite?
