More than 35 designers showed over five days in March, during Toronto fashion week, now known as World MasterCard Fashion Week after its newest sponsor. We’ve highlighted five top trends for fall 2012.

1. Get Waisted
In spring, designers bared midriffs. In fall, clothes are cinched with belts or fitted to hug your curves. Either way, do your crunches. Waists are in.
