It’s not just the crisp October weather that’s making everything rosy. Retailers are in the pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We’ve spotlighted a dozen fashion and beauty items. Whether special, limited-edition products or top-selling staples, here’s how much is being donated and where the money’s going.

Estée Lauder’s Jeweled Pink Ribbon Compact 1. We like Estée Lauder’s Jeweled Pink Ribbon Compact with refillable Lucidity Translucent Pressed Powder. The blue stone nestled among the pink crystals was added this year to represent the 1% of men diagnosed with the disease. Estée Lauder Canada is donating $100,000 in connection with the sale of the Pink Ribbon Collection to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Aveda’s Hand Relief2. One of the company’s top sellers, this month Aveda’s Hand Relief for Breast Cancer Awareness has been specially packaged in a bigger, limited-edition tube. Besides the 7% price-per-ounce savings, it’s a great moisturizer. $4 from each sale goes to fund cruelty-free research through The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

This month, $1 from every product sold online will be donated to the Breast Restoration Awareness Fund at the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, whose mission is to provide top reconstructive procedures and surgical and nursing care for women with breast cancer.
