Revlon Metallic Pastelles

Revlon Metallic Pastelles

We’ve fallen hard for metallic nail polish. It kind of crept up on us and one day just slapped us in the face and said “metallic polish is where it’s at, Be-atch!”. We felt that it was perhaps being a tad pushy and a little rude, but once we got over that, we realized it was right: metallic polish is pretty darn hip.

The folk at Revlon know a thing or two about trends and are launching a limited edition collection of purdy metallic polishes at the end of August. There will be a total of eight long-wearing pastel shades. Our faves? Girly and Fierce (we’re going to be hitting the purple shades hard this fall). And at only $5.50 each (a total steal!) we can own them all.

What do you think about metallic polish? Are you loving it?

I guess the fine people at Revlon are two steps ahead of me; I’m not into the metallics and haven’t been for a long while, except for two shades of Sally Hansen’s. I like lots of fresh colors in the light blue, pale purple and army green tones but I’m a true fan of the shiny creamy textures; no mattes for me either. Only exception I made this summer was for a gorgeous glimmering silver; Sally Hansen’s Xtreme Wear #13 Celeb City and the perfect gold; Sally Hansen’s Complete Salon Manicure #310 Gilty Pleasure, of which the gold one, will be following me into fall. Thanks for the post!
