Summer is definitely here and the weather is GORGEOUS. We asked four of our fave online peeps what their top beauty product pick is for summer – here’s what they said:
Ali de Bold, Co-Founder ChickAdvisor.com
I’m completely obsessed with Lise Watier Bora Bora Eau de Toilette. It’s summer in a bottle. On me it smells like coconut, vanilla and a hint of musk though the notes are passion flower, jasmine and rose, some sort of exotic fruit cocktail and a base of warm amber and vanilla, wood and musk notes. I often find summer fragrances too light, flowery or too fruity. Unless the goal is to attract bees, I prefer not to wear those ones. My husband noticed when I first wore it and said he loved the way it smelled on me. For an eau de toilette, it has great staying power and at $50, it’s pretty reasonably priced too. Win win!

It’s been out for a couple of years now, but I just discovered Cote d’Amour Eau de Toilette Naturelle by L’Artisan Parfumeur, which marries two of my major obsessions: organics (it’s Ecocert-certified) and the beach (it smells a bit like suntan lotion). On first spritz, you get a strong aquatic note, but then it dries down to a very clean, soft, slightly coconutty skin scent. LOVE!

I’m obsessed with orange lipstick. Surprise! I love the following shades equally (truly): Dior Addict Lipstick in Fire, Stila Long Wear Lip Color Matte in Outrageous, MAC Pro Longwear Lipcreme in Good to Go, MAC Amplified Lipstick in Neon Orange… and I know I have room for more orange love — I’ve been flirting with Kat Von D Painted Love Lipstick in A-Go-Go.
But if I have to pick just one orange, it’s Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip Waterproof Lipliner Pencil in 17C. Makeup pro Veronica Chu turned me onto it as The Key to getting a true, happy orange finish from your orange lipstick. A neutral liner instead dims the orange pop, which isn’t really the look I’m going for. I’ve embraced orange in all its citrus joy; I want my lips to say so!

Multi-use: Face Atelier Facade a weightless silicone based lip and cheek stain that is PERFECT for warm weather.
Tool: Clarisonic Mia in travel size to keep my skin smooth and exfoliated all summer long on the go. Plus their animal print version is fun!!
Fragrance: Tocca Bianca a gorgeous light breezy scent that reminds me of the air on an island vacation.
What do you think of their picks? Have you tried any of these products? What is your summer beauty pick?
