We’re just nuts about nails, and fascinated by the creative ways people decorate them. Are you?

As most fashion-loving folk, we have been glued to our computer monitors, drooling over fashion week coverage and wishing we were actually at the shows. Two New York Fashion Week nail looks that made our heart go pitter patter are the stunning Ruffian “Tux” manis and the rich burgundy nails from the Jason Wu show.

At Ruffian, long, almond shaped nails were given luxurious tuxedo manicures. To create this look, CND’s Kristina Estabrooks used Asphalt as a base, topped with Ice Blue Shimmer, Violet Shimmer, detailed with Blackjack, and finished with Super Shiney Top Coat for total polished perfection. These nails are really a work of art!

We can definitely see ourselves recreating Jason Wu’s eye-catching two-tone nails for a night on the town. CND’s Roxanne Valinoti created gilded burgundy manicures using Dark Ruby layered with Bloodline, and tipped nails with a thin line of Gold Chrome. “True Blood” chic, right?

Are you nail crazy like us?

Would you recreate either of these looks?

We want to know!
