Since we’re all about the ‘it’ bag, we love discovering a cool eco-friendly one. Fleabags ($550 /US $440) – yes we chuckled at the name too – was the brainchild of New York-based designer Shira Entis and lawyer Alexandra Bell. Tired of lugging their flea market finds (very eco-chic ladies!) home in too many plastic bags, they designed a large fashionable tote for their weekend pastimes – and a bag line was born.
Each posh piece is handmade from organic and vintage materials, and vegetable-tanned, American and Italian leathers. Load it up with magazines for a day at the beach, take it shopping or toss in some clothes for a weekend away – it’ll be your new best friend.
