One of the best beauty tips for a rosy glow is to work up a sweat. Not only will it help eliminate unwanted toxins, but with the warmer weather on its way, working out will help get you beach-body ready, and naturally we thought you should do it in style!
We’re guilty of throwing too many things in our gym bags but that doesn’t mean we don’t want to look stylish lugging our gear to and from. That’s why we’ve picked up the eco-chic Gaiam Everything Fits gym bag (US $60). It literally fits everything we need and keeps us and our stuff organized.
Made from 100 percent recycled materials, its vented outside compartment holds shoes, wet clothes or towel and includes an easy to reach outside pocket for a water bottle, inside and outside holsters for cell phone and MP3 player, and the bottom adjustable straps hold a yoga mat.

We instantly fell in love with Lotuswear (from $25 CAD), a line of sustainable, performance pieces based out of British Columbia, Canada. Made with sustainable fabrics such as organic cotton terry, recycled polyester and organic soy, we’ve done everything from running, spinning and yoga in their supersoft, eco-friendly Capri pants. The Supplex Performance fabric supports, holds its shape and provides advanced fiber technology. We love how lightweight it is and how it wicks away moisture from the skin and keeps us from feeling damp during our workouts. We even keep the organic cotton jackets close at hand when we’re not working out, and our favorite, the Bhima Jackress, which takes us to the gym and back and everything in between.

Did you know that typical running shoe midsoles take up to 1000 years to break down? That’s right we said 1000. Did you also know that Brooks has introduced the first-ever biodegradable running shoe midsole called BioMoGo (from US $100)?
By adding a non-toxic, natural additive to the MoGo compound, it encourages anaerobic microbes to munch away once it hits an active enclosed landfill, turning its biodegrading nutrients into reusable byproducts, in just 20 to 25 years, making it more environmentally friendly than regular running shoes. Brooks has also switched to water-based ink printing on all its 100 percent post-consumer recycled boxes, which can easily be flattened and recycled and reduced its waste by getting rid of those Silica packs and all that extra tissue paper. Now that’s leaving a smaller footprint with every step.
