We can’t wait for summer, can you? But just because the sunny days aren’t out in full force quite yet doesn’t mean we can’t look like we’ve spent the day at the beach—without the premature aging after-effects of too much tanning! That’s why we’re engaging in some early summer loving with products from the new Clarins Instant Sun Light and Instant Smooth lines.
The Compact Highlighter ($40)—we’re partial to the bronze shade—gives our face a concentrated dose of faux-sun kissed radiance whenever we need it, via a non-oily creamy formula we can’t seem to stop running our fingers through.
The Eye Quartet & Liner Palette ($40) is pure drama with a dash of earthy spice and an oh-so-pretty star anise design. (Finally, makeup that’s just as pretty as we are!) We also like that we can create eye-brightening looks for day and sultry looks for night with this elegant silver and caramel compact.
For lips, we’re crushing on the dynamic design of the Crystal Lip Balm ($27), which is just as magic as it sounds: the high-tech polymer stick looks like crystal, glides like silk, and boasts a wax-free formula that contains skin lipid-like molecules designed to diminish the appearance of fine lines, while delivering a subtly shiny slick of gloss.
For when we’re not feeling quite so demure, we’re definitely packing the Click & Gloss ($20), a lush formula that comes in a practical quick click dispenser designed to give us exactly the amount of super smooth, fabulously sparkly, fruity vanilla-flavoured gloss, every time. After one try, we didn’t think it could get any better—and then we realized the gloss also has an SPF6 filter to protect our kisser from the UV rays that make us pout.
Maybe it’s a true love thing that’s going to last all the way through autumn and beyond?
