Dove MEN+CARE: A New Frontier In Men’s Grooming

Friday, March 12, 2010

A daily beauty regime is a necessity for today’s modern gal. But our men also enjoy the tingly feeling of a good exfoliator or body wash too. They just don’t broadcast it.

For years, Dove has provided us with the tools to keep our skin soft and clean, without leaving it feeling tight and dry. Now, men can enjoy the benefits of Dove too with this new line designed specifically for the everyday man – Dove MEN+CARE.

The Dove MEN+CARE Body and Face Bars ($4.99 – $6.99 for 4 bars) have a fresh clean smell, not a powdery scent like the regular Dove bars, and are made up of 1/4 moisturizing cream. Unlike the women’s line which leaves our skin silky smooth, these bars will leave his skin soft to the touch, but not too soft – after all, guys still want to feel like a rugged man.

Of course, a guy’s beauty routine isn’t complete without the perfect body wash. The Dove MEN +CARE Body and Face Wash ($4.99 – $6.99) rinses off very easily and eliminates that dry, tight feeling most body washes leave behind. The Extra Fresh variant especially, is sure to wake him up with its invigorating cool scent, leaving him tingling all over.

Men want to look good and feel good, so whether your man does the shopping or you’re the type of girl who buys his toiletries, let him in on a new little secret – Dove Men+Care is a definite must have. Once he makes the switch, he’ll be hooked.

Available at major drug and retail stores across Canada and the US.

I am getting this for my man. He really wants to try it out.

I’m not a man, obviously, but really liking this line. Smells great, well priced and love that charcoal grey packaging! Finally something to give the ubiquitous Nivea a run for its money. (Don’t all guys seem to use Nivea? it’s strange)
