Carey Mulligan has been dubbed Hollywood’s new “It Girl”. And this British beauty rocked the red carpet wearing a stunning black strapless Prada dress, looking like an “A-List Celebrity”.

Here is the beauty breakdown from makeup artist Georgie Eisdell who prepped the Oscar Nominee for the big night.

“This was Carey’s first Oscars so I wanted to make sure she looked age appropriate but still embrace the glamour of the night. Carey’s dress was edgy and elegant so I wanted to keep her makeup looking fresh and youthful,” said Georgie Eisdell.

FACE

Georgie Eisdell enhanced the natural beauty of Mulligan’s skin with La Mer The Treatment Fluid Foundation SPF15 lightly powdered with La Mer’s The Powder in Translucent. For the actress’ cheeks, Eisdell wanted to give them a pinched cheek look so used Dior’s DiorBlush Glowing Color Powder Blush in Passion Fruit.  For the finishing touch on Mulligan’s skin, Bobbi Brown’s Bronzing Powder in Medium was applied.

EYES

For her eyes, Eisdell used Chanel soft beige and pink shadows from their Spice Palette. Next, she used MAC’s Black Track Eye Liner followed by YSL’s Faux Cils Mascara in Black. To finish off her eyes, Mulligan’s eyebrows were sharpened up with Laura Mercier’s Soft Blonde Brow Powder Duo.

LIPS

Mulligan’s pretty pale pink lip was created using Dior Addict Lip Polish 004.

BODY

The last step that Eisdell did before the actress walked out the door was apply La Mer Body Creme to give her body a lovely glow.
