We think that Stéphane Marais for MAC Cosmetics did an amazing job with the beauty look for Zac Posen’s Spring/Summer 2010 runway show. Very pretty and so fresh. We love how the eyes sparkle.
Here he shared what his inspiration was… “A mix of De gas ballerinas and Jean Shrimpton from the 1960s. Graceful and delicate like a watercolour painting, colours blended like hydrangeas.”
Here are the products that were used to create this look:
FACE
Stephane Marais applied Face and Body Foundation to skin for a dewy, sheer finish. Next, Prep + Prime Powder was used to set the makeup. Pro Paintstick in Magenta and Dolly Mix Blush were mixed and blended onto cheeks with fingertips. White Frost Eye Shadow was dusted over tops of cheekbones to highlight.
EYES
White Pigment was applied to the eyelids, then Dazzlelight Eye Shadow was layered over the lids for a transparent, sparkle. Next, Marais blended Lingering Brow Pencil into the crease to enhance and contour the eye. Generous amounts of Fibre Rich Mascara was applied to top and bottom lashes to create a fake lashlook. The brows were very natural and set with Clear Brow Set.
LIPS
Syrup Lipstick was patted onto lips. Next, Plumful Lipstick was blended with fingertips onto the corners of lips to add volume and contour.
