Hi, it’s Ellen here. I wanted to let you know that I am changing the format of Editor Beauty Picks. I have been asked by some of you to explain why I pick these products – so that’s what I am going to do! And, starting this week, I will be sharing one pick each week. In case you didn’t realize, the products that I recommend are tested, regularly used, and completely loved by me.
Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting Ole (pronounced “ooh-lah”) Henriksen at a Sephora event in Toronto. He is such a warm and genuine individual. His skin is unbelievable! It is so clear, smooth and almost wrinkle free! He is my skin care God, so when he recommended that I try his Micro/Mini Peel System, I nodded in a star struck manor and tried it.
The three-step kit contains an almond polish, lemon strip and chamomile mask. These ingredients work together to refine and brighten your skin, and with regular use, diminish imperfections.
I have really sensitive skin, and was very nervous to test this kit, for fear of my skin falling off. I will admit that my face was a bit red throughout the polishing and peeling steps, but the super calming effects of the mask had me back to my mayonnaise-coloured skin, but better, in no time at all. My skin felt so smooth and my pores were minuscule. I really looked like I had enjoyed a daylong facial at the spa.
The only negative for me is that the process is a little time consuming, so I tend to watch TV or check my email between each step of the treatment. I still love this kit and find that using it about twice a month is perfect to keep my skin clear and bright. I highly recommend you try it.
