Tarte Cosmetics is putting their best foot forward when it comes to creating green products. Their Spring Greening Reusable Straw Palette definitely fits with their motto, “Be Green, Be Smart, Be Tarte,” found on their home page. Six bold mineral eye shadows and three soft and sparkly t5 super fruit complex lip glosses are housed in a cute little zippered case made from sustainable straw, and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) foam, a post-consumer recycled material. There is even a little brush, with a bamboo handle, to apply the eye shadow. When you’re finished with the beauty products, you can easily remove the tray and reuse the straw case and brush. (more…)
