Trends in nail polish come and go, so we’re happy to embrace the ladylike colours of Essie’s fall collection. The six-shade range features dark berries, brick reds and creamy pinks that work with any skin tone – on fingers and toes alike.

Our top pick is the dark raspberry shade, No Boundaries. It’s completely office appropriate, a perfect mix of sweet and vamp, yet dressy enough for an evening out. And, we feel it looks absolutely darling when peeking through a pair of suede, open-toe booties.

If you’re looking for a classic, shimmer free, cherry red, you can’t get much better than the vivacious, Forever Young. We’d like to think Marilyn Monroe would approve.
