TAKE 5: Pretty Polish

Nail polish has stepped into the spotlight as of late and it is hard to keep up with all of the trends. Is the new it colour black? Is it blue that looks almost black? Is it orange? We are going to stick with what we like, colour wise, but we’ve tested five major brands to bring you the best of the best.

1 – Lackluster
2 – Not the worst of the bunch
3 – Getting there …
4 – Almost perfect
5 – Knock-your-socks-off good

There’s a reason why I buy Essie and O.P.I nail polish and you have stated that reason in this post. Thanks for the reassurance.

Does this rating include use of a topcoat?

Thanks for asking Diana. These polishes were tested without using a basecoat and/or topcoat. It’s all about the polish!
