Bésame recently added a new product to their timeless cosmetic line - The Enriched Lip Glaze.

This sweet smelling, creamy gloss is enriched with vitamins A, C, E and green tea extract to keep lips kissably soft for hours. Other ingredients contained in this luxurious glaze are, anti-aging marine collagen to promote lip shape and fullness, aloe vera, macadamia nut extract, sweet almond oil and squalene.

What is squalene? I didn’t know so I did a little research…

Squalene has several beneficial qualities for the body. One such benefit is that it assists in keeping skin moisturized and healthy and its anti-oxidant capabilities help to protect skin from the harsh effects of the environment. It is widely found in natural products such as - olives, palm oil and wheat germ oil. However, the largest concentration of Squalene is from deep sea Shark liver oil. Who knew?!

If you like chocolate, and I mean really like it, then do I have the product for you.

Recently I was in my favorite book store “Chapters” and was surprised to see several Cake products there. Mint Cashmere Cream Candle
This decadent candle is scented with creamy peppermint and silky chocolate – yummy and is 100% premium soy based. With a cotton and paper fiber woven wick, this candle will provide a clean burn lasting for 60 to 75 hours.

Why soy? Here is a little Lipstick tidbit for you: Soy wax is all-natural and not made from petroleum, like paraffin candles. Burning of soy candles does not increase the CO2 level in the atmosphere. They also last approx 50% longer than paraffin candles. One last benefit from me - scented soy candles distribute more fragrance. The incorporation of soybean oil lowers the melting point of the candle, which translates into cooler burning candles and faster scent dispersion.
